At an age when most Americans look forward retirement, Paula Leen, a woman of exceptional compassion and energy, took her life savings and donations from two friends and built Murwira Children's Home, a home for orphan children in Zimbabwe. And, she didn't stop there. Paula and her staff provided transportation for the critically ill to clinics and hospitals, provided part-time jobs for more than 80 adults, developed an agriculture program to help feed the community, and distributed food packages to hundreds in the area who would have otherwise starved.
